WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Jen Kiggans (VA-02) has been selected to serve on the Congressional Escort Committee ahead of tonight’s State of the Union address. Congresswoman Kiggans will join a bipartisan group of Members to escort the President of the United States into the U.S. House of Representatives Chamber for the State of the Union address.

“While the President and I don’t always see eye to eye, it is an honor to escort the Commander in Chief into the State of the Union,” said Congresswoman Kiggans. “I hope the President will take the opportunity tonight to acknowledge the distress Americans have felt over the past two years and commit, in good faith, to working across the aisle to addressing the challenges facing our nation.”

A livestream of the State of the Union will be available here.
