Meet Jen
Congresswoman Jen Kiggans represents Virginia’s Second Congressional District, including Virginia Beach, the Eastern Shore, and parts of Chesapeake and Hampton Roads. A Navy veteran, nurse practitioner, military spouse, and mother, Jen served 10 years as a Navy helicopter pilot with two deployments to the Persian Gulf. After leaving active duty, she became a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, caring for seniors and families across Virginia Beach and Norfolk.
Before Congress, Jen served three years in the Virginia State Senate, championing legislation for military families and long-term care patients. In the U.S. House, she serves on the Armed Services, Veterans’ Affairs, and Natural Resources Committees, working to strengthen national security, support veterans, and protect Virginia’s coastal communities. She lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, who is a former F/A-18 Pilot, and has four grown children.
